Our DBT training series is designed for mental health professionals who want practical, evidence-based tools they can immediately apply in their clinical work.
Whether you're new to DBT or looking to strengthen your skills, our trainings will help you better support clients who struggle with emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, relationship difficulties, self-destructive behaviors, and distress intolerance.
As a Learner, you'll:
Attend one or all four of our DBT Skills Training workshops
Learn practical DBT strategies you can begin using right away
Increase confidence working with high-acuity and emotionally dysregulated clients
Earn continuing education opportunities (when available)
Connect with other clinicians interested in DBT
This pathway is ideal for clinicians who want to integrate DBT skills into their current practice without making a larger commitment.
DBT NETWORK CONTRACTOR
Stay Independent. Stay Connected.
Maintain Your Independence & Gain Support.
Our Contractor Pathway is designed for clinicians who want to maintain their own private practice while participating in a collaborative DBT community.
DBT Network Contractors are independent clinicians who partner with DBT Network of Utah to expand access to high-quality DBT services throughout Utah.
To qualify, clinicians must:
Have completed intensive DBT training through DBT Network of Utah or another recognized intensive DBT training program
Participate in our weekly DBT Community Consultation Team
Be willing to co-lead a DBT Skills Class for DBT Network of Utah as an independent contractor
Be willing to accept referrals from DBT Network of Utah and provide Comprehensive DBT services to these referrals, including individual DBT therapy, between-session skills coaching, consultation team participation, and coordination with DBT skills training. Opportunities are available to serve adults, adolescents, and/or children.
Maintain professional licensure and malpractice coverage
Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based DBT services
As a DBT Network Contractor, you'll receive:
Referrals for screened clients seeking Comprehensive DBT services who are an appropriate fit for your practice and areas of specialization
Access to our weekly DBT Consultation Team
Opportunities to co-lead DBT skills classes
Access to DBT skills classes for your individual therapy clients
Access to medication management providers for your clients
Supervision opportunities for clinicians pursuing DBT-LBC Certification
Coverage support for client coaching calls when needed
A 25% discount on all DBT Network of Utah trainings
Opportunities to collaborate with a community of DBT-focused clinicians
The ability to market your practice as offering Comprehensive DBT services when all required components of the DBT model are provided
