    Skills: Recovering from Invalidation and FAST

    Weekly Skills Practice: 

    • Diary Card

    • Interpersonal Effectiveness Worksheet 13 (p. 193) - Fill this worksheet out at least twice when you feel invalidated this week.

    • Choose 1 of the FAST skills to work on daily and identify a specific behavior to do daily.

    • Fill out Interpersonal Effectiveness Worksheet 5 (p. 175), at least once. Note how you can integrate DEARMAN, GIVE, and FAST all together.

    Module: Distress Tolerance

    Skills: ACCEPTS, Self- Soothe, and IMPROVE

    Weekly Skills Practice: 

    • Diary Card

    • Distress Tolerance worksheet 5 (pg 379) OR 5B (pg 381).

    • Distress Tolerance worksheet 6B (pg 384). Brainstorm 3 for each sense. 

    • Distress Tolerance worksheet 7 (pg 386) OR 7B (pg 388).

    • Practice as many of these skills as you can mindfully.
