DBT Adult Program
We provide DBT “by the book,” exactly as it was designed and proven effective. Learn to manage intense emotions, navigate interpersonal challenges, and build a life worth living. Our program includes weekly individual therapy, a weekly skills class, and in-between session skills coaching as needed. Additionally, all of our DBT providers participate in weekly consultation team meetings to ensure they consistently deliver DBT with excellence.
General Scheduling Information
Individual therapy sessions are scheduled once a week, tailored to fit both your availability and your provider’s schedule.
DBT Skills Class
DBT Network of Utah currently offers three options for our Adult DBT Skills Classes, designed to help individuals replace ineffective behaviors with practical skills and improve their overall quality of life. The full skills class runs for 14 months and is divided into two 7-month modules.
New members can join at the start of each module. To maintain a supportive and effective learning environment, class size is limited to 9 participants for in person classes and 12 participants for online classes.
To ensure fidelity to the evidence-based DBT model, clients wishing to join the skills class must be engaged in individual DBT therapy either with a therapist within our network or with a therapist who participates in a DBT Consultation Team and is committed to providing skills coaching throughout the program.
